NI Music Prize 2013
“Joy Of Nothing” by Foy Vance

With Bangor tale-telling master Foy Vance walking away with the inaugural award for the extraordinary Joy of Nothing, Northern Ireland Music Prize 2013 was truly a night remember – and then some. As well as the eagerly-anticipated announcement at the end of the night, Belfast-based singer-songwriter Anthony Toner, alt-punk trio Axis Of, garage-blues duo The Bonnevilles, the globetrotting Girls Names and the cosmically-inclined electronic wizard that is Space Dimension Controller all delivered stellar sets throughout the course of the night.
